It is with great pride, enthusiam, and RELIEF that I am able to report that the Shenandoah Chapter - Virginia Tech Alumni Association was able to collect 158 productive units of blood during our 3rd Annual Virginia Tech for Life Blood Drive on Friday, April 16th. We also had a total of 15 deferrals. I believe this will be another record-setting collection for this Red Cross Chapter, surpassing our collection of 142 productive units last year!!
There are way too many people to recognize for their contribution to the success of this event, but a special Thank You goes out to Committee Chairperson Ingrid Henkins, Red Cross Coordinator Julie Shiben and her entire staff, the staff at the Youth Development Center for the use of their facility, and the staff and management at Chick-Fil-A for providing much of the canteen food and commemorative t-shirts to the first 125 donors.
We look forward to being able to host this event again next year, as we continue to remember those lost and those left behind on April 16th, 2007. "Ut Prosim"

to a block of (55) upper level (first 15 rows) tickets and a block of (55) Lower Club Level
corner seats.
Including the cost of the buses and refreshments
while on the bus, the total cost will
be:
Upper level - Section 437 $100.00 per person
Lower Club Level/Corner - Section 337 $150.00 per person.
This IS NOT intended to be a fundraiser....we are covering our expenses for the buses, refreshments while on the bus only, tickets, parking, etc.
Due to the HUGE cost of putting this trip together, we will be
requiring payment in
full when you order your tickets.
You may purchase your tickets with
PayPal, MasterCard, VISA, or by mailing a check. Tickets will be on a
first-come basis, based on when payment is
received.
